Currently in the state of Florida, medical cannabis is legal, but recreational is still prohibited. Florida marijuana distribution is only permitted by medical marijuana treatment centers (MMTC) to other MMTCs, marijuana testing laboratories or qualified patients.
MMTCs are the only businesses authorized to process, cultivate, and dispense low-THC medical marijuana and cannabis.
